What is the selection process for Railway Group D vacancy
If you’re interested and have a good faith on yourself to crack one of those 38 posts, you need to go through the following selection process:

Who is eligible for Railway Group D Vacancy
To be eligible to apply for this vacancy you need to fulfill certain criteria which are as follows:
- The candidate age should be between 18-25 years. Note that there is no age relaxation on the basis of category
- The candidate should be at least 10th passed.
As the posts are for sports quota you also need to fulfill the sports criteria:
- Represented the Country in any of the Category C Championships/ events
- At least 3rd Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category)
- Represented a State of equivalent Unit, except in Marathon and Cross Country, with at least 8th position in senior national championship only.

Documents Required for Railway Group D vacancy 2024
- Proof of Date of Birth
- Proof of Essential educational i.e. 12th or Graduation as the case may be and Sport qualification prescribed for the category/post.
- In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Minority/EWS(Economically Backward )etc, you need to upload caste certificate as well.
What is the fees for Applying Railway Group D vacancy 2024
Application fees is kept very nominal and candidates will be receiving a refund as well after appearing for the examination. There is some relaxation for SC/ST and Women, and the the fee structure is as follows:
- SC/ST/EBC and women would have to pay 250rs from which 100% of the money will be refunded to your bank account if you appear for the examination
- For all the remaining and General candidates, the fee has been set to 500rs from which 400rs will be refunded if you appear for the examination.
